Shark!

A lovely friend of mine recently asked me for a special commission.

As you already know from previous posts, I am not overly keen on commissions, as I prefer to make what I choose and then sell them when they are finished. That being said, I am also really bad a saying no and I love a challenge!

This is what they look like before sewing up! Not exactly shark like are they??

The crochet itself is pretty easy, the pattern is well written, but the making up was a little more tricky!

If you are making these yourself, don’t miss out the placing of markers! They are crucial in the sewing up!!

That being said, I’m sure I’ll be making more!

Coastal Vintage

Back in my home town for a few weeks over the summer, and this new shop opened! As a lovers of all things vintage / antique, my Mum and I couldn’t wait to have a shufftie! And we were not disappointed!

What a treasure trove of vintage loveliness!

 

Housed in the now closed Nags Head pub, Coastal vintage is a feast for the eyes, full of vintage, retro, antique and modern peices, as you meander through the many rooms including the old beer garden, you are drawn to all sorts of wonders, from quilts, to clothes, to silk scarves, to furniture, if its vintage and / or retro then you might just find it here!
